Our Event - Thurs., Jun. 27, 11 a.m.-12 p.m. - Join LIC Partnership as we debut our latest public art installation: Lumina Arcana. This installation welcomes you to the bustling Vernon Boulevard with its vibrant lights that change with the seasons and celebrate the holidays. The first lighting will consist of a rainbow to celebrate pride month and the diversity of Long Island City. Please join us for our ribbon cutting, followed by a drag performance from Malai. After the event, Safir Mediterranean at 47-31 Vernon Boulevard will be offering 20% off lunch. Details
Sat., Jun. 1, 8 p.m.-12 a.m. - Kick off Pride Month at MoMA PS1's "Night at the Museum," an after-hours party with some of the city’s most exciting and experimental queer performers, nightlife activations, and late-night access to spring exhibitions. Details
Weds., June 5, 6 p.m. - Celebrate queer stories at Everyone Comics x Collectibles with DC Comics' special reprint of Rachel Pollack's Doom Patrol series. Enjoy a new story written by Joe Corallo and get your book signed by the author. Details
Thurs., Jun. 6, 6 p.m. - Attend Culture Lab LIC’s opening reception for “Say it Loud: Unsung Heroes,” an art exhibition celebrating LGBTQ+ individuals, and enjoy wine, music, and light bites. Details
Sun., Jun. 9, 3:30-9 p.m. - Join Otis & Finn at their "2024 Pride Party" and dance the day away to music by DJs Evanium and Sean L with a special guest appearance by drag legend Thorgy Thor. The theme this year is candy shop. Details
Thurs., Jun. 13, 5:30-8 pm - Join Movement LIC for a "Queer Climb Night" facilitated by staff and followed by happy hour deals on drinks and free pizza at The Local. Details
Partner Event - Thurs., Jun. 13, 6 p.m. - Join the office of Queens Borough President Donovan Richards Jr. for a Pride Month celebration honoring leaders and showcasing talent in the LGBTQ+ community. Details
Thurs., Jun. 13, 7-9 p.m. - The NY Irish Center and CraicFest present their annual LGBTQ+ film screening as part of Pride month. This year, the event features the documentary film "Notes from Sheepland," directed by Cara Holmes, which explores the life of a shepherd and visual artist. Details
Fri., Jun. 14 - 5:30-7 p.m. - Join Industry Gymnastics in fundraising for the Ali Forney Center, an organization committed to saving the lives of LGBTQ+ youth from the harms of homelessness, and register to take part in a jog-a-thon. Details
Fri., Jun. 14, 7:30-9 p.m. - Sunnyside Shines presents "SunnyPride 2024," celebrating LGBTQ+ Pride in western Queens with a rally, march, performances, a queer makers market, and free HIV testing on-site. Details
