LIC Partnership’s 7th Annual LIC Springs Back! will take place on Friday, October 2nd to Sunday, October 4th. Our goal for this community event will remain as it always has been; to showcase everything that LIC has to offer, not just today, but every day of the year. As our businesses and organizations maneuver through COVID-19, achieving this goal is even more important.
Although we are unable to host LIC Springs Back! as a massive in person event on Vernon Boulevard as usual, the current situation presents us with the opportunity to do something new and exciting for this year’s event. By combining small in-person events throughout Long Island City with virtual offerings, over 3 days of fun, we will showcase #LICLocal businesses and organizations through their fun, creative, and innovative activities that can be experienced safely by groups of all ages. We highly encourage everyone to not only attend the event, but also to share this information far and wide. Let’s celebrate the resiliency and creativity of LIC and spring back together as a community.

Friday, October 2: Maskerade LIC presented by Neuman’s Kitchen
- A walking tour of Long Island City which allows the community to visit and experience what local businesses offer. From tastings to samples to special features.
- Follow the Maskerade-LIC map to visit participating businesses. Each participating business will present their “masked creation”. While these creations (eg. tastings, samples, special highlights) will be offered on a complimentary basis guests are encouraged to support local businesses with purchase of items and/or sharing to social media their visit.

Saturday, October 3 - Sunday, October 4: #LIClocalWeekend
- A combination of in-person and virtual activations provided by #LIClocal businesses and organizations.
- Enjoy special promotions, live music, dance and theater performances plus interactive lessons, art & sculpture-making, fitness classes, outdoor dining, pop-up activities, sports games, volunteering opportunities and more.
- Explore the neighborhood and build an itinerary of your weekend.

FOR BUSINESSES:
LIC Springs Back! is free to participate for LIC-based businesses. Each business must provide at least one of the following:
- Special promotion
- Virtual session
- Socially distant activation that adheres to all applicable laws, rules and health and safety guidelines provided by city, state, and federal government agencies.
