The latest federal Relief Package was signed into law by the President on December 27. The law appropriates a new round of Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) forgivable loans and extends the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program. Please join us on Wednesday, January 13, at 3pm for a webinar with Man-Li Li, Economic Development Specialist in the New York District Office of the U.S. Small Administration on PPP and EIDL updates, as well as when and how to apply for these two programs.

About PPP and EIDL:
The PPP is a forgivable loan program to for covering payroll and other eligible business expenses during the COVID-19 pandemic. Borrowers can apply through participating PPP lenders. Forgiveness is granted and calculated based on information and documentation of all eligible expenses.
The EIDL program has two components: The Advance and the Loan. EIDL Advance is a grant of up to $10,000 and does not have to be repaid. The Loan carries an interest rate of 3.75% for business and 2.75% for non-profit borrowers. The term is 30-year with a one-year deferment. Acceptance can be made after the application is approved.
