Celebrate LIC

Is LIC Partnership Event

On September 20, 2019, the Long Island City Partnership (LICP) hosted a celebration of the LIC community and our 40th anniversary serving this wonderful neighborhood. The evening honored our partners in LICP's LIC Arts Connection, showcased musical talent from our community, featured free samples of local food with drinks available for purchase, and activations showcasing what LIC has to offer. The event was open to the public and attended by over 1,500 friends, neighbors, businesses and co-workers.

LICP’s LIC Arts Connection is an innovative, multi-site community arts initiative that builds non-traditional partnerships between public and private landlords, local businesses, employees, students, residents and artists. Its goal is to connect LIC’s community, both physically on foot and socially through access to arts and culture. This initiative is part of LICP’s larger portfolio of work towards connecting LIC’s vibrant mixed-use community.
