MLK had a dream to make the world a better place. In today's camp, we will focus on Building a Better World - through Robotics! Campers are challenged to think critically about the world around them. As students identify problems, they will think creatively about how they can use technology to inspire change. Through a series of games, LEGO mosaics, engineering challenges, and lots of laughs, students will end the day with a new Robotic that aims to make the world a better place. We all have a dream - What's Yours?
Your child will learn the fundamentals of programming while navigating through programming instructions to make their inventions come alive. Students will work in groups to create robotic models that help to better the world. When building without instructions, children are challenged to think creatively both on a large and small scale. As they brainstorm the purpose of their model and troubleshoot building issues, they will practice crucial problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
