Join us to celebrate Earth Day at the 2nd Annual Renewable Ravenswood Family Festival! Following beautiful sunny weather for our first event in 2024, we're excited to make this a tradition and invite Long Island City back to Queensbridge Park for another great event. No advance registration required, drop by between 11am-4pm.
Look forward to BBQ and picnic food (while supplies last!), music, dance and arts workshops, climate education, and a mobile science lab for kids – courtesy of BioBus. Renewable Ravenswood, announced in July 2022, is a vision to replace the 1960s-era generators at Ravenswood Generating Station with clean energy. Learn more about the project and share your feedback with us at the event.
