In this ‘make and take’ workshop, students build and take home a LEGO Jack O’Lantern that lights up! They learn about the origins of some spooky myths and use this knowledge for their series of Halloween based builds therefore confronting what lurks in the night! Snapology’s Monster Mania program encourages students to embrace their imagination and create familiar items with a unique, personalized twist. By using visual aids, holding creative classroom brainstorming sessions, and providing basic building parameters, students will be supported as they take creative risks and guided when they aren’t sure what to build next.
