Each year, Long Island City Partnership: 

• Assists hundreds of LIC businesses with one-on-one assistance 
• Manages the LIC Business Improvement District (BID) and Industrial Business Zone (IBZ), providing supplemental sanitation, neighborhood beautification and marketing efforts to the districts 
• Commissions public art projects such as Summer of Sports and Lumina Arcana
• Advocates for streetscape and public realm improvements, such as pedestrian and bike safety enhancements, and upgraded infrastructure to support the neighborhood’s continued growth 
• Maintains active social media accounts and hosts free community events to celebrate the neighborhood and introduce residents and visitors to local businesses, nonprofits, and cultural institutions 
• Hosts virtual and in-person seminars along with dynamic networking events aimed at empowering our members and strengthening the small business community 
• Produces and disseminates insights on neighborhood demographics, economics, and assets through comprehensive research 
• Helps to raise the profile of LIC and offer distinctive avenues of engagement to stakeholders through events such as the LIC Summit and Real Estate Breakfast.
