Long Island City Partnership’s signature community celebration returns for its 8th annual year—but with a twist! This year LIC Springs to Summer! will be a series of events, promotions, and performances throughout Long Island City from your favorite LIC businesses, organizations, and cultural institutions beginning Monday, June 14-Sunday, June 20.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We are NOT shutting down Vernon Boulevard for this year's event

As a part of the event, we are creating an LIC Passport to showcase everything LIC has to offer, not just today, but every day of the year. These passports will include all the events and promotions in the neighborhood that can be redeemed during the week-long program, ranging from intimate concerts to exclusive dinner deals! We will distribute the passports leading up to and during the week of the event through multiple pick-up locations in the neighborhood.

Corrections

Please note the following changes to information listed in the LIC Passport:

LIC Girl Scouts:

In both the Schedule at a Glance and Listings, the address for St. Mary's Church is listed incorrectly. The correct address is 1008 49th Avenue. 

Queens Bridge Tech Lab- Queens Public Library:

The event on June 19 from 11 AM-2 PM has been canceled. All Queens Public Library locations will be closed in observance of Juneteenth. 

Community Capacity Development:

The Juneteenth BBQ hosted by Community Capacity Development on Saturday, June 19, 12-4 PM will NOT take place at Ravenswood Houses. Instead, it will take place at the same time at Astoria Houses, featuring DJs from 105.1 FM. Full Address: Astoria Houses, Basketball Courts Roundabout behind building located at 2-10 27th Ave Astoria, NY 11102. DJ Enuff will headline CCDs upcoming event on June 26 at Ravenswood Houses.
